On Friday April 8, the Stations of the Cross celebrated the "Christ of Forgiveness" in Calzada de Calatrava. large Calzada Week is preceded by the various events organized by some guilds, including the Via Crucis on Friday organized by the brotherhood of San Cristobal. At 21:00 h. Christ came out of the chapel "Blessed. Trinity" through the streets surrounding with singing, praying the 14 stations and lighting the way with candles that divided the guild.
During the Via Crucis I missed a lot of people who chairs brotherhoods and of others who wear the medal whenever they can. Could it be that as it does not pass through the main street, because we no longer see well. (I say I)
The statue of Christ was bought in Madrid for the brotherhood of San Cristobal in 1987 at a price of 260,000 pesetas. (On loan from a Brother Anonymous)
